Browse booksMany of us seek help when we feel overwhelmed, ashamed, frightened, stuck, or unable to make sense of what is happening inside us. Biblical counselling does not treat us as machines to be repaired, nor as problems to be managed, but as embodied souls, made by God, known by God, and invited to seek His wisdom and comfort in Christ.
We can begin where you are, with Scripture open, prayerful dependence upon the Lord, and careful attention to the real circumstances of your life.
You may be seeking counselling for one clear issue, or for a tangle of grief, fear, exhaustion, family strain, spiritual confusion, and long-standing pain. The first step does not have to be dramatic. It may simply be saying, “I need help to think this through before the Lord.”
The first session gives us time to talk gently through what has brought you here, what kind of help you are looking for, and whether this form of biblical counselling is suitable for your situation.
We consider immediate pressures, longer-term patterns, spiritual concerns, practical responsibilities, and the comforts, commands, and promises of God’s Word.
We look for wise next steps, not quick fixes: truth for the mind, comfort for the heart, repentance where needed, courage for obedience, and hope in Christ.
Sessions are currently offered online or by telephone. Counselling is not an emergency service.
Some visitors are waiting for an appointment. Others are unsure whether counselling is the right step. These books, courses and articles are designed to offer biblical help while you consider the next step.
Gentle biblical encouragement for those who feel afraid, overwhelmed, or weary of fighting the same fears again and again.

Christian BasicsYou do not need to have perfect words, a tidy story, or complete clarity before asking for help. We can begin with what is most pressing, and seek the Lord’s wisdom one step at a time.
If you are in immediate danger, or someone else is at risk of harm, please contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis service straight away.
